Doc Viewer: PDF, DOC, XLS, CSV opens and processes your documents entirely on your device. We do not collect, upload, store or share your files or personal data. There is no account and no analytics.

Your documents
Documents are read only to display, search, annotate or convert them, and always on the device. Recent files, starred files, reading positions, bookmarks, annotations, signatures you draw and the on-device search index are stored in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. You can clear them in Settings, and uninstalling the app removes them. Files you place in the Private Vault are additionally encrypted with AES-256; the key is held in the Android Keystore. Your original documents are never modified. Annotated or converted copies are saved as new files.
Smart tools (AI)
Summaries, question answering, keywords, smart data detection and read aloud run on the device using open algorithms and the phone’s own text-to-speech engine. No text is sent to any server.
Permissions
All files access (optional): used only if you choose “Find all documents on this phone”, to list the PDF, Office, text and e-book files already on your device so you can open and search them. The app works without it through the system file picker and “Open with”. Files are never uploaded.
Camera: used only by the system document scanner when you choose to scan.
Biometrics / screen lock: used only to unlock the private vault.
Sharing and saving
Files leave the app only when you choose Share or Save and pick a destination.
Third-party components
Document scanning and text recognition (OCR) use Google ML Kit, which runs on the device. The app does not send your images or text to Google or anyone else.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
